  1. Always ask for a Sanity roll before describing what is causing the need for one… it always freaks out the players more, because they have no idea what they have just stumbled onto! 🙂

  2. You know I've never played much call of Cthulhu. But I feel this presence… Pressing on the edges of my consciousness, my mind is changing… All of a sudden a door in front of me, I'm inside that door percentile based madness. Haha think I'm going to have to get a game going on the GTS discord

  3. I am so looking forward to more of this from you. Before I saw the Stream Of Blood games, I had heard terrible things about the game's complexity, but it's really not that difficult to get your head around.

  4. Can't watch it. I'm sorry. I just feel I'm not morally pure enough to be in Her presence. Hope ZGen can figure that out before it's too late. To all of us.?!.!?

  5. Someone defined Call of Cthulhu very succinctly on Reddit: D&D and Pathfinder are power fantasies. Call of Cthulhu is a powerless fantasy. If you're a masochist, you'll love CoC.
The other thing: Don't go anywhere alone. If you do, you're gonna die.
Oh, and make your occupation “Flamethrower Technician,” in order to explain why you always have a flamethrower (in church, at the mall, in the bathroom, etc.).

  6. I am thinking of playing this game, and I think this is one of the better summations of the game I've seen. (Seth Skorkowsky's 7 part series on the game is probably the best). You really made it simple and easy to understand. I just bought the Investigators Handbook and looking to find a game online. Do you have any suggestions on a site where I can find players and a site to play on? This is the first video I've watched on your channel and I am subscribing and going to check out what else you have. Thanks for the information!

  7. Until last Saturday if never heard of this game. Came across this video on trying to find out what the game is and how to play. I'm lost already. I Need to understand the basics of the game first. How many players, what equipment is needed, the aim of the game etc.

  8. Great overview Good Time Society. Clear and concise. I highly recommended this to anyone looking for the gist of the Call of Cthulhu 7th edition rules system, in under 15 minutes!

  9. Great rundown and very expressive eyebrows. But seriously this is one of the best TTRPG breakdowns I've ever seen, usually these things leave me more confused than I was before
